Public Transport Directions:
NB: Many of hese places are 5-15 minutes walk from Eyre Square.
For St Patrick's church, the Sean Duggan Coach Station and the Tourist Office, go to the south-east corner of Eyre Square, and walk up Forster Street. The church is at the top of the street on the left, the tourist office is immediately across the road and the coach station is diagonally across the intersection.
For other locations, catch the 8 - Mervue or 9- Parkmore buses, from Eyre Square (bus details). As the bus leaves the city-centre, it makes a sharp right-hand turn (the tourist office is on the right hand side at the corner). After this:
- For the City Council offices and Yeat College, get off at the first stop, turn left and walk just down the road.
- For the Greyhound track, get off at the second stop along College Rd
- For Lough Atalia playground, get off at the 3rd stop (which is just before the traffic lights).
- For the Huntsman, get off after the bus turns right again: the hotel is across the road).
