The National Parks and Wildlife service are running a bus service in the Gort area for summer 2026 - between 1 June 1 and 31 August 2026.
Called the Yeats-Gregory Explorer, there are two mini-buses running, with 12 daily services between:
- Market Square, Coole Park, Kiltartan-Gregory Museum, Thor Ballylee Tower
- Market Square, Kilmacduagh Monastery, Garryland Wood.
There is a signposted bus stop in Market Square, just south of the main village bus stop, and opposite the AIB bank.

The service is are free for adults and children
Buses are not wheelchair accessible.
