Public Transport Directions:
Galway Clinic:
- From the city, the 9a -Galway Clinic bus, goes right to the door, although there are only a few buses each day.
- There is a free shuttle-bus for staff, patients and visitors between the clinic and off-site parking in Roscam (connecting with the 9 - Parkmore bus). Refer to the clinic's bus timetable for details.
- From the county, services from Athenry (Farrells) stop at the clinic (and it may be possible to catch their outbound services from the city to the clinic also - check with the driver) - see Regional Buses for links.
Do not try to get to the clinic on foot: the dual carriageway and roundabout are extremely busy, and not set up for pedestrians.
Castlegar Sports Complex, Merlin Park Furniture, Good Shepherd Parish Centre, Cheshire House:
Catch the 9 - Parkmore or 9a - Galway Clinic bus, both of which leave from Eyre Square.
Get off at the stop after the Oranmore Coast Road turn-off. Walk a few steps from the bus-stop up to the lights, and turn right. Cross the road and you are in the Roscam area.
Castlegar Sport Complex and the Good Shepherd Parish Centre are on the right.
To get to Cheshire House, walk up the first road on the left, and take the 2nd turn on the right (signposted).
